Greetings from the Western States Regional Night!

Dear Friends and Family,
Continuing our evening entertainment from the regionals, tonight is the hometown talent show for alternative performances from Burning Man's other home in San Francisco and other cities up and down the west coast.

Our good friend and favorite lobster, $teven Ra$pa, helped to organize the regional and thematic music nights and will be emceeing and hosting this evening. $teven is often seen as 6 different costumed personas in an evening, every one of them a lovable, outrageous freak. As a fellow costume addict and artist, he is my idol and dear friend and in my next life I want to come back as one of his beard daisies, but I digress.

On this evening's schedule? Throat singing, accordions, opera, tranny lip synching, experimental audio, dancers, trapeze artists, clowns, and marching bands. And that, my friends, is one teeny tiny fraction of all that is going on all over Black Rock City this evening. Wait! I think I see the huge white glowing Whale chasing the spanish galleon La Contessa across the desert heading toward the Café. I've got to run!
